Paddle With Peter Duck
Following its broadcast on BBC Radio 4 this morning, Paddling With Peter Duck is now available on the BBC iplayer until noon on Thursday, 11 August.
In the half hour programme John McCarthy discovers Arthur Ransome’s life through his many boats, including his yachts Nancy Blackett, Peter Duck and Lottie Blossom, and dinghies Mavis (Amazon) and Coch-y-bonddhu.

BBC Radio 4 will be broadcasting a new programme about Arthur Ransome and his boats on Thursday, 4 August.
Called Paddling with Peter Duck, the half hour programme will be presented by John McCarthy, who will be visiting, and in some cases sailing, some of the yachts and dinghies that Ransome owned or was associated with.
