Gifts of all sizes are a great encouragement to us, and we are grateful to all our supporters for whatever donations you choose to make to the Trust.

You may wish to contribute via our Annual Fund, which includes Putting Ransome on the Map. Or you can make a single donation to the Trust using one of the methods below.

Text Donations

Text ARTR10 £xx to 70070 (the four letters ARTR and the numerals 0ne-zero, followed by a space, followed by a £ sign, followed by the amount you wish to donate).

You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10. There are no additional network charges for using this service.

JustTextGiving will send you receipt/acknowledgement by text, together with the opportunity to Gift Aid your donation by web form or text message. They will send you one automatic reminder about Gift Aid 24 hours after you make your donation.

The Trust receives 100% of your donation.

The JustTextGiving service is provided by Vodafone in association with Just Giving.

Online Donations

To make a single gift online, click on the Charity Choice link at the foot of the page. This will take you out of the Arthur Ransome Trust website to the Trust’s dedicated pages at Charity Choice.

You can opt to send online donations anonymously if you wish. However, you cannot gift aid an anonymous donation.

Please also note that there will be a delay between your making an online donation and your gift reaching the Trust. This is partly because Charity Choice reclaim Gift Aid (if appropriate) on the Trust’s behalf, which they then forward to us with the donation itself. It will, therefore, take us rather longer to acknowledge and thank you personally for online donations than those received by post.

Postal Donations

To make a single donation by post, download our Response Form at the foot of this page, complete the relevant section(s) (including “Gift Aid” and “My Details” if appropriate) and post it to us.

Our savings were melting away, but… we thought we could take the risk of one more year and the writing of Peter Duck.
