Voyages of Discovery with the Swallows and Amazons Musical
We are very pleased to announce that the Trust will be mounting a Voyages of Discovery display during the forthcoming Swallows and Amazons Musical Tour. The display will be kindly hosted by the Children’s Touring Partnership and the participating theatres. We currently anticipate it will be available from 20 December, at the Vaudeville.
This follows our first Voyages of Discovery display at the Bristol Old Vic last December. You can find fuller details in the Current Events section of our site.
The display will provide a brief introductions to Swallows and Amazons, the Swallows and Amazons series, and Arthur Ransome. If you are visiting the Musical, please do look out for it; we hope it provides an interesting and informative addition to the performance itself.
We are very grateful to all at the Children’s Touring Partnership, especially Jon Bath, Tom Powis and Tom O’Connell, and to all those involved at the different venues for facilitating this Voyage of Discovery alongside their own complex tour.
